Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico in a family who loved music. She spent most of her youth listening to classical music Boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic music, as well older classical songs. Ana has a passion for tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. Her mother taught her to sing, however she started more intense vocal training with Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. he was a renowned Mexican opera Tenor. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In her early career, she was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs in Guadalajara. After moving from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she sang for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer in classical Latin American music at private occasions. She is involved with many local organizations and is a teacher as well as a performer due to her enthusiasm for art and music. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher in The Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
